Autumn Girl

 Hello everyone

I hope everyone is safe and well, sending thoughts to anyone in Florida at the moment with the horrible storm Ian.

Today is the latest all dressed up challenge - I cannot believe it's the first of October already!

I used one of the three autumn girls available from etsy.  There are three of them, but they also come separate so are brilliant value for money.

When I was shopping in Asda a found a pack of Crayola skin tone pencils, and they had so many colours it made me realise I always colour my images with the same pale skin, and we are obviously not all the same, so for this one I thought I would do something different.

I hope you like it!

I'd like to enter this into:

Dream valley - Autumn colours

Get creative - Autumn/Fall

Creative fingers - Anything goes

Your next stamp - Fall

Crafty Gals corner - Signs of Fall

Thanks for stopping by!  If you want to see more inspiration you can drop by our Facebook page or blog, and for more of my work my social media links are at the top of the page.

See you soon

Terror-ific

Hello again - I'm back with another spooky themed project!

This autumn gnome can be used for Halloween or just for autumn, but he is so cool and really easy to colour.  If you don't have the time or patience to colour, you can buy him pre-coloured.  Both digi and pre-coloured are available on the poolkadoodles website here:

This is to celebrate the start of our latest challenge over on the polkadoodles blog. where our theme , as ever, is anything goes...

Our DT always have some amazing projects to whet the appetite or if you're feeling a bit uninspired, yu can also check out the shop where every image has a gallery you can look through to help you imagine what you can make with the images! Please pop over and see us!

I firstly printed and coloured him using copics.  I then took the sentiments from the set and some paper and tore it for the central banner.  I decided it needed some interest in the background and grabbed a stencil from my stash and inked through.

All finished with some black Nuvo drops and a doodled border in black fineliner!

I am scheduling this post as I'm away on hols, but i will be back soon with more inspiration! Thanks for stopping by!

See you again soon

Beary Autumn

 Hello crafting friends.

It is time again for the latest Polkadoodles challenge over on our blog.  To entry theme is anything goes, and you can win some of Nikky's amazing digi images (not just the winner but the DT top three too!)

I used this little die set called beary cute to make a very Autumnal feeling card.

I die cut the pieces from various colours of card stock and lightly inked the edges using distress oxide vintage photo.  I used a white gel pen to add details such as the spots on the toadstools and layered the bear and the background. on his nose and eyes, I added a tiny bit of glossy accents then added some glitter gel pen dots and a white gel pen doodle to finish the card.

I'd like to enter this into:

Send a smile for kids - autumn

Alphabet challenge - L is for leaves

Daring cardmakers - in the forest

As you like it - favourite card shape (5 by 7 rectangles because there is plenty of room to have your image and some clean space too. especially a top fold!)

Moving along with the times - trees/leaves

Isn't he just adorable!  please do check out our blog and or shop for loads of DT inspiration using Polkadoodles products.  And if you have landed here - leave me a little message.  If you like my style, you can follow me on social media in other forms - the links are top right if you are interested.

See you all again very soon!

Autumn vibe

 Hey everyone

So in case you hadn't noticed the Autumn releases are all on their way!  loads of new stamps from all companies for Autumn and Halloween.

I have a couple of cards in the next few days to share starting with this one I made for a create and craft show on behalf of Oakwood direct.

They have shows with Stampendous stamps, and I was sent this one to complete samples for.  Its a large slimline stamp called Harvest ride, but I liked the bicycle so didn't use the whole thing for this card.

I also though it would look great layered up, so I stamped it three times and coloured up sections before fussy cutting them so I could decoupage it.

It was coloured with a combo of copic markers and polychromos pencils, before I layered it, and added it to a card base with a beautiful yellow mat and layer.

The sentiment is from a Hunkydory pad with little strips you cut up.  i thought this one was perfect for the card.

I'd like to enter this into:

Krafty Chicks - all occasions

Double D - wheels/Mood board

Crafty Calender - anything goes

Taylor made cards 4 U - transport

A perfect time to craft - Anything goes

Creative crafters - Anything goes

I hope you like my card - if so please leave a bit of love either below or on on my other social media sites - to access these click on the link top right!

See you very soon
