Terror-ific

Hello again - I'm back with another spooky themed project!

This autumn gnome can be used for Halloween or just for autumn, but he is so cool and really easy to colour.  If you don't have the time or patience to colour, you can buy him pre-coloured.  Both digi and pre-coloured are available on the poolkadoodles website here:

This is to celebrate the start of our latest challenge over on the polkadoodles blog. where our theme , as ever, is anything goes...

Our DT always have some amazing projects to whet the appetite or if you're feeling a bit uninspired, yu can also check out the shop where every image has a gallery you can look through to help you imagine what you can make with the images! Please pop over and see us!

I firstly printed and coloured him using copics.  I then took the sentiments from the set and some paper and tore it for the central banner.  I decided it needed some interest in the background and grabbed a stencil from my stash and inked through.

All finished with some black Nuvo drops and a doodled border in black fineliner!

I am scheduling this post as I'm away on hols, but i will be back soon with more inspiration! Thanks for stopping by!

See you again soon

Let it snow....

 Hi crafty friends!

I cannot believe it is almost October - this year has flown by.  The new releases have all turned towards Christmas and winter and even the shops have the odd Christmas gifts appearing!

Over at All dressed up, it is again new release time. This time my card is made using this darling image called sledging time, available from etsy

I printed him out and coloured using copics, then fussy cut him out.  I had some backgrounds I made a while ago using stencils, so I tore one up and added some blue mirri card behind and layered for effect.  I finished it with some stickles to look like sparkling snow! The sentiment is a Lili of the valley set - an oldie but goodie!

The other images in this release are:

Crown of hearts
Deer hug
Sledging time

Beary Autumn

 Hello crafting friends.

It is time again for the latest Polkadoodles challenge over on our blog.  To entry theme is anything goes, and you can win some of Nikky's amazing digi images (not just the winner but the DT top three too!)

I used this little die set called beary cute to make a very Autumnal feeling card.

I die cut the pieces from various colours of card stock and lightly inked the edges using distress oxide vintage photo.  I used a white gel pen to add details such as the spots on the toadstools and layered the bear and the background. on his nose and eyes, I added a tiny bit of glossy accents then added some glitter gel pen dots and a white gel pen doodle to finish the card.

I'd like to enter this into:

Alphabet challenge - L is for leaves

Daring cardmakers - in the forest

As you like it - favourite card shape (5 by 7 rectangles because there is plenty of room to have your image and some clean space too. especially a top fold!)

Lets be frank...

 Hi crafting friends

When I opened the Halloween release from Polkadoodles, I was automatically drawn to this guy.

I'm not sure why - but I thought he was the cutest monster I had ever seen; I also knew he would make an amazing polaroid picture.

To make him, I firstly increase the size of the digi image (that is the beauty of digital images!) then laid a rectangle over the top on craftartist so I could move it around and give me fabulous, framed image.  Once I was happy with the layout, I printed him out and coloured him using copic markers.

The image is again from the set, and I printed it along with the frame. This was then matted onto black card stock to make it pop.

The background was looking a little plain, so using more of those funky sentiments I placed a few around the edge of a 7x7 card like badges in the background

I am in love with it!!!

I'd like to enter this into:

Birthday Boy

 Hello everyone

I hope you are all safe and well out there!

Its time for another challenge on our Facebook page this time the theme is boys.  One of my all time favourite all dressed up images is for boys, and I have used him in the past for many cards, so I thought I would dig him out again and make him into a birthday card using Autumnal colours.

This cutie is called 'Baseball Bear' and I coloured him using Spectrum Noir triblend brush markers.

The star dies I have had forever - I don't even know where they came from I've had them in my stash for that long. Otherwise I used creative expression Lisa Horton stamp set for the sentiment and the letters are from Lawn Fawn Oliver's alphabet.

I hope you love him as much as I do.
