Memory book

 Hi everyone

Today is the latest Challenge over at Polkadoodles.  The DT are sharing ideas for gifts and packaging as the polka doodles products range can be used for much more than cards

I made this book using the last Christmas release of the cute gingerbread people.  I used the stamps and the papers to make a memory book I can fill with photos over Christmas to gift to someone in the new year.

Its so cute.  I'm adding photos but you could put recipes, memorabilia, or just journal your festive period.

The full download pack can be found here.

To join our challenge, nip over to our blog here, I can't wait to see your makes!

Celebration Winnie

Hello crafters

Welcome to another blog challenge over at Polkadoodles, this one is anything goes, and you have a chance of winning three digi images.  There are some fab new releases too!

This time I made an Easel card using greens and yellows.  I did it to match her bottle of bubbly!

She is either a digi image or a stamp and the flowers are from the blossoming blooms collection

All coloured with copics and fussy cut, I used an A6 card to make the easel shape.  A oval die cut in jade pearlescent card to make the lovely Winnie stand out.

The flowers were then stacked behind and on the base so it all stands up, and of course a touch of stickles for sparkle!

I hope you like her - I think she is perfect for any celebration!

Penguin wreath

 Hello crafting friend

Posting today, just because!  I went to the stamp magic show in Doncaster and picked up some Lili of the valley polymer stamps, and had great fun making a set of Christmas cards with them.

I actually brought 4 sets (hubby if you are reading this they were on offer!) this card uses two called Animal Christmas wreaths and a fabulous sentiment set called Christmas greetings.

I love that these stamps come in a Kraft envelope with no single use plastic... well done LOTV!

I stamped the wreath to the side and then stamped and coloured the penguin with my copics.  I wanted him to have dimension so I fussy cut him out and popped him on some foam pads.

I stamped the sentiment at the top and trimmed the side adding coloured/stripy paper for added interest.  Finished with some stickles.

He is soooo adorable!

Snowy wonderland

Hi everyone

Over at Polkadoodles blog we have a new challenge for you to enter, with a chance of winning digi images of your choice.  Its almost Christmas (only 64 days to go) so you could use your win to stock up on Gnomes, Winnie, Elvis or Bella to name but a few.  My inspiration is actually from the new release Christmas stamp sets called winter kingdom.

I just love these snowmen, they are not cutesy, but they are super fun!

this back ground is a spare piece from my scraps stash, but you could have an inky background, use a stencil just get creative.  As he's a snowman, the colouring is really simple, just use some pale blues to add a bit of contrast, colour his scarf and crown and he's done.  really good for quick card makes!   I also added some stickles for added icy sparkle.

The snowflake is an old todo die I cut in half tucking in either side.

the sentiment is from the stamp set, and I just doodled around the edge for a full border.

Hope you like it

Christmas with friends

 Hi everyone

Time for more 'c word' cards!  Christmas is now less than 11 weeks away...  cue the music in the shops!

Over on the Polkadoodles blog we have a new challenge.  its anything goes - so we would love to see what you make for a chance of winning some stunning digi images!

To make this I used a stamp set called snowball kisses.  I inked up the background using distress oxide inks, then splattered with water and some lawn fawn liquid stardust.

The cute characters were coloured with copics and fussy cut out, before being positioned into the scene above.  Isn't it so cute!

Our challenge runs until Friday night, but there is a new one every week so no need to miss out!
