Kendras card challenge #21 (March entry)

 Hello crafting friends

I loved the challenge over at Kendras so much, I entered again, but this time with the aim of making 15 Easter cards.

As per my previous post, Kendra gives a template to use on 6 pieces of 6x6 patterned paper and 15 sketches to use those pieces on.  It's a great way to use up some of those paper pads and ephemera packs.

This time, I used Doodlebug papers and ephemera, as well as the new Simon Hurley/Spellbinders Easter bunny die set called Bunny Buddies and a smattering of other sentiments and embellishments to finish them all.

Here's the full 15, followed by each one individually.

I just love the vibrant colours and happy little bunnies.  I now have more than enough spring and Easter cards to send to my friends and family.

Thanks for stopping by!

Kendras sketch card challenge #21

 Hello everyone

I'm almost sure we all get into a rut sometimes with our making and I'm also almost certain we have oodles of 6x6 patterned paper pads we have picked up alog the way.  I saw this challenge on a You tube video, Kendras sketch challenge (#21) and thought - new year, new challenge, why not!

The point of this is to use 6 sheets of co-ordinating (or not) patterned paper, cut in various ways to make 15 cards with various sketches to follow.

I have loads of kits and thought this would be a perfect challenge to use some up of a Ciao Bella kit called 'Summer Breeze'

This kit has 12 x 12 papers, 6 x 6 papers, cut out ephemera, and stamps.  So I pulled it out, followed the instructions from kendras free patreon page.  They were super easy to follow and soon I had 15 base card sketches ready to decorate.

The page also has details of the links to enter and details of what to do.

So heres my entry - 15 cards made following the sketches ad using up stash that was just going dusty. (BTW I bearly touched the pack! LOL)

Full collection of 15 cards
Sketches 1 to 5
Sketches 6 to 10
Sketches 11 to 15

Ahhh the beach  - I cannot wait for that feeling again!

I hope you like them - it was just for a bit of fun really but I loved doing this.  It felt good to use up old stash and make things using sketches which I havent done in ages.  Thanks Kendra for the inspiration!

See you again soon.
